getillumi.net ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps users compare products on iHerb.com. This policy explains what data the Extension accesses and how it is handled.

• Current tab URL - to detect when you are on an iHerb.com product listing page. The Extension does not monitor or record URLs of any other websites.
• iHerb.com page content - to extract publicly visible product information such as names, prices, weights, nutritional values, and rankings. This data is read directly from the page you are already viewing.

Data We Store

• Product cache - extracted product data is cached locally on your device (using Chrome's storage API) for up to 5 minutes to improve performance. This cache is automatically cleared and never leaves your device.
• User preferences - your selected sort category and unit preference (KG/LB) are stored locally on your device.

All stored data resides exclusively on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information.

• We do not send any data to external servers. All processing happens locally in your browser.
• We do not use analytics, cookies, or any third-party tracking services.
• We do not access your iHerb account credentials or any login information.

Permissions

The Extension requests the following Chrome permissions, each for a specific and limited purpose:

• activeTab - to interact with the current iHerb.com tab when you activate the Extension.
• tabs - to detect page navigation on iHerb.com and to open product links in new tabs when you click on them.
• sidePanel - to display the comparison panel alongside the iHerb page.
• storage - to cache product data locally on your device for faster performance.
• Host permission (iherb.com only) - to read product data exclusively from iHerb.com pages. The Extension has no access to any other websites.

Third-Party Services

The Extension does not communicate with any third-party services, servers, or APIs. All data is read from iHerb.com pages that you visit and processed entirely within your browser. No data is ever sent to getillumi.net or any other server.

Data Security

Since all data processing occurs locally in your browser and no data is transmitted externally, there is no risk of data breach from our end. The Extension operates entirely within Chrome's security sandbox.

Children's Privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age. The Extension does not collect any personal information from any user.
